Namik Glacier Trek

Uttarakhand

From dense forest to beautiful meadows, waterfalls, sulphur springs to quaint villages, you’ll encounter them all on this trek! The name Namik Glacier is derived from Namik village. In local dialect Namik translates into saline water springs which perfectly represent this glacier as a number of waterfalls and sulphur springs originate from this glacier. Namik village was once an important centre of Indo-Tibetan trade.
